How do I mount the NicNac Tall shelf?

Use the included wall-mounting bracket. Position the bracket so it’s perfectly level and check vertical alignment before hanging the shelf — this keeps the tall format straight along door frames or narrow walls.

What’s included for installation?

A wall-mounting bracket, screws, wall plugs (rawlplugs), and an installation manual. Use anchors suitable for your wall type.

Which wall types are compatible?

Masonry, brick, concrete and drywall/plaster are all compatible when you use appropriate anchors. Always ensure a secure, load-bearing fix.

Can I rearrange the compartments?

No. The layout is fixed to preserve the clean, vertical proportions and sculptural look.

Is it made of wood?

Yes. NicNac Tall is crafted from Valchromat® — a through-coloured wood-fibre material made from by-products of wood processing and pigmented with dyes used in the textile industry. We finish it with plant-based Rubio Monocoat hardwax oil, giving the surface a beautiful, lively and luxurious feel while highlighting the material’s natural depth. In short: it’s wood-based and designed with an eco-conscious profile.

How do I clean and refresh the finish?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals; for occasional cleaning use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. For periodic refresh, use Rubio Monocoat Refresh Eco Spray as directed; test on a discreet area first and buff lightly for an even sheen. Avoid abrasive pads and all-purpose detergents.

Where does the tall format work best?

Ideal for narrow walls, hallways, beside door frames, stair landings or anywhere a vertical composition saves visual space while Framing your Memories.
