NicNac - Timeless Box Shelf
Tools Required:
You will need a 6MM drill and a TX15 bit.
Parts Included:
The package includes all necessary components to install the NicNac Shelving Unit, including the shelving unit itself, a French Cleat wall bracket, screws, and raw plugs — all provided in the correct quantities based on your specific product.
Installation Steps:
1. Measure and Mark
Hold the French Cleat Bracket against the wall at your desired height. Using a spirit level, mark three evenly spaced drill points that align with the holes in the bracket.
Important! – Before drilling, always check the wall for pipes or electrical wiring using appropriate equipment.
2. Drill
Drill holes at the marked points using a 6MM drill bit. Drill straight and perpendicular to the wall to a depth of 45MM. If mounting to a wooden wall, do not use raw plugs. Instead, pre-drill 2MM pilot holes for the TX15 screws.
Important! – Always drill perpendicular to the wall to ensure a stable and secure fit.
3. Insert Raw Plugs
If mounting into a solid wall (such as plaster, concrete, or brick), insert the provided 6MM raw plugs into the drilled holes. Skip this step for wooden walls.
4. Mount the French Cleat Bracket
Align the French Cleat Bracket with the holes and use the TX15 screws to fix it securely to the wall.
Important! – Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this may damage the bracket or compromise the mounting surface.
5. Mount the NicNac Shelving Unit
Lift the NicNac unit and align the hook on the back with the mounted French Cleat Bracket. Slide it downward until it rests securely and evenly.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To keep your NicNac looking great, simply wipe the surfaces clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners to preserve the finish.
