Do the doors swing out into the room?

No. The vertical-glide door moves up to open and down to close, so it never swings out into the room.

Can I keep the cabinet open while I cook or get ready?

Yes. Because the door stays within the cabinet’s footprint, you can leave it open for continuous access in the kitchen or bathroom.

Is Balance suitable for small kitchens, bathrooms, and hallways?

Absolutely. It’s a slim, space saving wall cabinet designed for tight layouts and narrow walkways.

What is the oak dowel used for?

The removable oak dowel adds flexible utility—hang a hand towel, s-hooks or a paper roll.

Can I install it in a bathroom?

Yes - just avoid direct water exposure and ensure normal ventilation, as you would with any furniture.

Can I route cables inside the cabinet for charging?

Yes. Small openings at the top and bottom let power cords pass into the cabinet, so you can charge items like shavers or phones while keeping cables tidy.

How is it mounted?

Yes. Mark the holes, drill, insert the included Fischer universal wall plugs+screws, and hang the cabinet securely to the wall. An installation manual is included.

How do I care for the surface?

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For spills, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive or solvent-based cleaners. To revive the hardwax-oiled finish over time, refresh the surface with Rubio Monocoat Refresh following the instructions; always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.

Is custom colour or sizing available?

Not at the moment. Balance is offered in a fixed size to ensure consistent quality and quick delivery.
