What defines Bjørk as a Minimalist birch dining table?

Clean Danish design, warm birch character, and precise proportions - crafted in our Copenhagen micro factory for everyday living.

Is the colourful top durable for daily use?

Yes. The surface is finished for everyday dining—resistant to regular wear. Use coasters/trivets for hot items and wipe spills promptly.

How do I care for the surface?

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads. To refresh the sheen over time, you can use Rubio Monocoat® Refresh.

What materials are used?


Bjørk pairs warm birch with an optional Valchromat® colour top for a minimalist look with tactile depth - finished with Rubio Monocoat® hardwax oil.

Will it fit small apartments?

Yes. The slim, airy silhouette keeps spaces feeling open, while the sturdy construction supports daily meals and gatherings.

Are the edges comfortable and child-friendly?

Yes. Softly rounded edges and corners enhance comfort and reduce hard contact points - great for everyday family use.

Does the colour top maintain its look over time?

The finish is designed to age gracefully. Routine care plus occasional Rubio Monocoat® Refresh will help preserve colour depth and surface feel. If scratches occur, the entire tabletop can be sanded back and re-oiled. The Valchromat® top is through-colored, so the color does not wear off.
