Anchor – A solid oak hook that doesn't let go Most hooks let a damp towel or a loaded bag slide straight back off. Anchor is built around a deep, wide groove and a broad head, so whatever you hang stays hung, exactly where you put it.
A groove that grips The deep notch cradles straps, loops and folded towels, while the wide head stops them riding off the end. It's a simple shape doing one job properly: keeping your things off the floor.
Solid oak, finished by hand Each hook is made from a single piece of solid oak: no joins to work loose, even under a heavy winter coat. We finish every one by hand with Rubio Monocoat®, a plant-based hard wax oil that protects the wood and keeps its matte feel.
One hook, three rooms In the bathroom, the deep groove takes heavy, damp towels and bathrobes. In the hallway, it's strong enough for coats and bags yet compact enough for a narrow entryway. In the kitchen, it keeps tea towels and aprons exactly where you reach for them.
Handmade in our Copenhagen micro-factory We make Anchor by hand in our Copenhagen workshop, sanding and finishing each hook one at a time. Order a single hook, or a set of three for a row by the door or along a bathroom wall.
Anchor is a single piece of oak with a deep notch cut into it. That notch is what holds a damp towel or a winter coat in place, so you stop picking things up off the floor.
How it works
One hole, no screwdriver
1Drill one holeDrill a 6 mm hole and tap in the supplied wall plug. Check first that there are no pipes or cables behind. In a wooden wall, just pre-drill 3 mm.
2Twist the hook inThe screw is set into the oak. Turn the hook by hand until it sits tight against the wall – no screwdriver needed.
3The groove holds onThe deep groove holds a damp towel or a winter coat, and the broad head stops anything sliding off.

The buying experience is always efficient and pleasant
I have had the pleasure of shopping at Quirky Moose several times, and every time has been a great success!
I have bought two stools, and they are not only stylish in lovely colours, they are also incredibly practical. They move around the house a bit and get used as a plant stand, a bedside table for overnight guests and, of course, as a stool.
We also had custom fronts made for a whole wall of cabinets that needed an update, and the result is simply fantastic.
Stig is full of creative ideas and gives a personal service at the same time. The buying experience is always efficient and pleasant. Top quality, and all of it sustainable 👌🏼

Tasteful and functional
We bought 3 products for our new house. We use "Balance" as a medicine cabinet in a spot where we could barely fit a cabinet with ordinary doors. It works really well. Our everyday shoes sit just inside the door in "Grounded". Neat, and it works. Finally we have a "Wasteless" shelf in the bathroom. All of it in the blue colour with beautiful oak dowels.
It is functional, and we feel it adds a unique style to our home.
Vi købte 3 produkter til vores nye hus. "Balance" bruger vi som medicinskab på et sted, hvor vi dårligt ville kunne få plads til et skab med almindelige låger. Det fungerer rigtig godt. Vores dagligdags sko sidder lige inden for døren i "Grounded". Nydeligt og det virker. Endelig har vi en "Wasteless" hylde på badeværelset. Alt sammen i den blå farve med smukke egestokke.
Det er funktionelt, og vi synes det tilfører vores hjem noget unik stil.

Deep, wide groove — holds damp towels, robes and coats without slipping
Broad head — stops straps and loops sliding off the end
Made from a single piece of solid oak — strong under a winter coat, with no joins to loosen
Finished by hand with Rubio Monocoat® hard wax oil — protects the wood while keeping its natural, matte feel
Compact footprint — suits narrow walls and tight entryways
Handmade in our Copenhagen micro-factory — each hook sanded and finished by hand
Materials & Finish
Solid Oak (Hook)
Made from a single piece of solid oak, chosen for its strength and warm, open grain. With no joins or glued parts, there's nothing to work loose over years of daily use.
Rubio Monocoat® (Finish)
Finished by hand with Rubio Monocoat®, a plant-based hard wax oil that bonds with the wood from within. It protects against everyday moisture while keeping the oak's natural touch and matte appearance.
Care & Patina
Wipe clean with a damp cloth — no special products needed. The oak will develop a soft, natural patina over the years, getting a little darker and warmer the longer you use it.
Sizes
One size — supplied individually or as a set of three
