How do I mount the NicNac shelf?

Use the included wall-mounting bracket. Fix it level on your wall, then hang the shelf onto it.

What's included for installation?

A wall-mounting bracket, screws, wall plugs and an installation guide. Use anchors suited to your wall type.

Which wall types are compatible?

Masonry, brick, concrete and drywall are all suitable when you use appropriate anchors. Always ensure a secure, load-bearing fix.

Can I rearrange the compartments?

No — the layout is fixed, which is what gives NicNac its clean, sculptural look.

Is the NicNac shelf made of wood?

Yes. NicNac is made from Valchromat® — a through-coloured wood fibre board made from wood-processing by-products — and finished with plant-based Rubio Monocoat® hard wax oil. It's wood-based and designed with an eco-conscious profile.

How do I clean and care for it?

Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals — for occasional cleaning use a slightly damp cloth and dry straight away.

How do I maintain and refresh the finish?

Use Rubio Monocoat® Refresh Eco Spray as directed. Apply to a clean, dry surface, test a discreet area first, and buff lightly for an even sheen. Avoid abrasive pads and all-purpose detergents.

We bought three products for our new home. We're using the “Balance” cabinet as a medicine cabinet in a spot where a cabinet with regular doors simply wouldn’t fit. It works perfectly. Our everyday shoes are neatly stored in the “Grounded” unit just inside the door. It looks great and works really well.
