What is Wasteless made from?
Each Wasteless is built from an oak dowel and four through-coloured Valchromat® shelves — off-cuts left over from our other pieces — finished with Rubio Monocoat®, a plant-based hard wax oil. It's high-quality material that would otherwise be scrapped.

What kind of items can I display on Wasteless?
Smaller, lighter items only — keys, jewellery, a few small ceramics, or travel keepsakes. Distribute the weight evenly across the shelves and avoid heavy objects.

How do I clean and maintain it?
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives. If the finish needs refreshing, use Rubio Monocoat® Refresh.

How is it installed?
Wasteless is wall-mounted — mark and drill the holes, insert the supplied wall plugs, and screw it to the wall. Screws and wall plugs suited to most wall types are included, along with an installation guide.

Our everyday shoes are neatly stored in the “Grounded” unit just inside the door. It looks great and works really well. Wasteless is a wall-mounted shelf whose four leaf-shaped tiers pivot around a central oak dowel, so you set the arrangement rather than the shelf setting it for you. Every Wasteless is made from the high-quality material left over when we cut our other pieces — an oak dowel and through-coloured Valchromat® that would otherwise go to waste. It's a genuine zero-waste design: purposeful furniture made from what would normally be scrap.

A solid oak dowel forms the spine the shelves pivot on — warm, with a tactile grain, and naturally durable. Quietly refined, it brings the depth and character that only real wood can.
Valchromat® (Shelves)
The four leaf-shaped shelves are made from wood fibre board coloured all the way through — rich, saturated tones with a softly matte, tactile surface. Scratch it and you'll find the same colour underneath. Quiet, premium, and built to age well.
Rubio Monocoat® (Finish)
Finished with Rubio Monocoat®, a plant-based hard wax oil that deepens colour, adds a silky touch, and protects against everyday spills and stains.
