Balance

You'll need

  • Drill with 8 mm bit
  • T20 driver bit or screwdriver
  • Spirit level

In the box

  • 1x Balance wall cabinet
  • T20 mounting screws
  • Wall plugs
  • Cardboard mounting template

Before you drill

Before drilling, use a detector to check the wall for hidden pipes or electrical wiring.

Step by step

  1. Measure and mark

Use the included cardboard template to mark the four mounting points on the wall. Use a spirit level to ensure the marks are straight and aligned.

  2. Drill holes

    • For masonry or concrete walls: Drill holes at the marked positions using an 8 mm drill bit.
    • For plasterboard walls: Drill through the board with the same bit and use the wall plugs from the box.
    • For wooden walls: Do not use the 8 mm bit. Instead, pre-drill 3 mm pilot holes for the mounting screws. Wall plugs are not needed for wood.

Important: Always drill straight (perpendicular to the wall).

  3. Insert wall plugs

Insert the provided 8 mm wall plugs into the drilled holes (not in a wooden wall).

  4. Install upper screws

Insert the top two mounting screws into the wall (or wall plugs) using the T20 bit. Do not tighten fully. Leave a gap of approximately 20 mm between the screw head and the wall.

  5. Hang the cabinet

Lift the Balance wall cabinet and hang it onto the two top screws.

  6. Secure the cabinet

Insert the bottom two mounting screws through the cabinet holes and drive them fully into the wall. Finally, tighten the top two screws until the cabinet sits flush and secure against the wall.

Cleaning and care

  • Wood: Treat with furniture wax oil as needed.
  • Hemp cords: These are durable. If replacement is ever needed, please contact us.
