About NicNac Tall
NicNac Tall – A taller frame for the things you like looking at
NicNac Tall is the upright version of our trinket shelf: the same width on the wall as the square NicNac, just taller. It uses the height of the wall instead of the width, which is often what a narrow room has to spare.
More height, more to show
The portrait format adds vertical display space without taking up any more width than the square NicNac. It's at home above a sideboard or sofa, in a stairwell, or wherever you have more height than width to play with.
Asymmetric compartments, stacked vertically
The compartments are sized differently and stacked on top of each other, so a small ceramic, a stack of books and a taller vase each get a section that fits.
Valchromat®: colour that goes all the way through
NicNac Tall is made from Valchromat®, a wood fibre board coloured all the way through. This isn't a painted surface. Scratch it and you'll find the same colour underneath. Choose from eight colours, from Sand, Light Grey and Black to the brighter Yellow, Orange and Green.
Handmade in our Copenhagen micro-factory
Every NicNac Tall is cut, assembled, sanded and oiled by hand in our workshop. It comes in three sizes, 50×70, 70×90 and 90×110 cm, so there's a size for a small display and one for a whole wall. NicNac Tall also comes in a square format: the NicNac. Same materials and finish; pick the proportion that suits your wall.

How it works
It hangs on a hidden wall bracket

1Measure and drillMark the holes exactly 20 cm apart with a spirit level: 3 marks for 50 cm, 4 for 70 cm and 5 for 90 cm. Drill Ø6 mm holes for all sizes.

2Screw the bracket to the wallPush the wall plugs into the holes and screw the bracket on. Bracket, plugs and screws are included.

3Hang the shelfThe hook on the back of the shelf slides down onto the bracket, and the shelf hangs level.

Tasteful and functional
We bought 3 products for our new house. We use "Balance" as a medicine cabinet in a spot where we could barely fit a cabinet with ordinary doors. It works really well. Our everyday shoes sit just inside the door in "Grounded". Neat, and it works. Finally we have a "Wasteless" shelf in the bathroom. All of it in the blue colour with beautiful oak dowels. It is functional, and we feel it adds a unique style to our home.
